0302. George W. Meader (1835  –     )

George W. Meader, son of George Meader (c.1794-p.1871) [0168] and Sarah Morrell (b.1801), was born July 15, 1835. He married Josephine Smith of Braintree, MA five miles from Randolph, MA, where his parents were apparently living at the time. The young couple settled in Woonsocket, RI, where he was in the boot and shoe business.

The children of George Meader and Josephine Smith were:
i. Clifton Meader, who died at five years.
ii. Jane Elma Meader who died at one year.
1899 iii. Ernest Victor Meader, probably born in Woonsocket in 1865.
